HDFC shares down as foreign investors book profit

http://equityresearchlab.com/Freetrial.phpShares of Housing Development Finance Corp (HDFC) were down 2.4% at Rs 1,207.10 because foreign investors booked profit, a dealer said. Shares of HDFC had risen from a 52-week low of  Rs 1,011.45 on February 25 to a 52-week high of Rs 1,464 on September 7.
"We expect the stock to remain weak till December end, as foreign investors are likely to sell and realise profits," a research analyst said. Till September end, foreign institutional investors held over 77% equity stake in HDFC. 

Stock View:
Housing Development Finance Corporation Ltd is currently trading at Rs 1213, down by Rs 27.05 or 2.18% from its previous closing of Rs 1240.05 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs 1241 and has touched a high and low of Rs 1241 and Rs 1185 respectively. So far 4140731(NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs 196510.61 crore.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs 1463.25 on 07-Sep-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs 1012 on 25-Feb-2016. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 1285.75 and Rs 1234.1 respectively.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 0 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 88.59 % and 11.41 % respectively.

The stock is currently trading below its 100 DMA.
